This week we were supporting our client Correla, at the Utility Week Live exhibition in Birmingham. After all the hard work done over the last few months; evolving the Correla brand to be more representative of the business vision and then creating a raft of new on, and offline collateral – it was good to see all of that come together in one place.
Speaking with the team from Correla on the stand, it was great to get such positive feedback and support for the changes implemented as part of the rebrand. The new product naming we developed in particular, was great to hear was being so broadly adopted and praised by the team.
The event itself was busy too. Footfall ‘felt’ good, the talks/seminars I saw through the day were well attended and full of ideas that seemed to prompt good conversations between an engaged audience. As always with industry events like this, the coming together of global mega corps and smaller businesses was a great showcase for innovation and creativity.
Choosing to invest in events can be a risk as the reality is that it doesn’t take much to tank attendance – a pile up on the M6, bad weather (or great weather) and visitor number can be affected limiting your audience. But when the stars do align, it is a really positive experience.
